Transfer of areas of municipal economic activities

Convergences Public Privé led the consortium that supported the Communauté de Communes du Pays d’Uzerche (19) in a project management assistance mission related to the transfer of municipal economic activity zones. Indeed, the NOTRe law of August 7, 2015, modified the distribution of responsibilities between different levels of local authorities, as well as within the municipal block, since now, community councils automatically assume, on behalf of their member municipalities, the responsibilities related to economic development, particularly the creation, development, maintenance, and management of activity zones, whether they are artisanal, industrial, commercial, or tertiary (Article L. 4251-17 of the CGCT). This transfer of responsibility is accompanied by the transfer of the corresponding infrastructure (activity zones, facilities, etc.).
